TL;DR

Tristan Peters’ banana-bat walk-off homer off Kodai Senga gave the White Sox a 2-1 win over the Mets, marking Chicago’s 11th walk-off victory and Peters’ third of the year; Benintendi delivered the tying run in the eighth, while Newcomb, Fedde and Smith combined for eight scoreless innings in relief after an early Mets run, and Antonacci had the Sox’s lone hit before the late rally.
