Google's Bard AI Chatbot: Early Access and Employee Testing

Google has opened up access to its AI-powered chatbot, Bard, which is an experimental conversational AI service for Google Search. Users can join a waitlist to get access, and Bard beta access is currently limited to the United States and UK. Bard is not designed to replace Google Search, but rather is complementary. It uses a lightweight and optimized version of LaMDA and can perform a variety of functions, but Google warns that it can provide inaccurate, misleading, or false information as it learns from a wide range of information that includes real-world biases and stereotypes.
