A Buick Grand National, believed to be stock, beat a Lamborghini Countach in a drag race, despite having half as many cylinders and 150 hp less. The Grand National's 3.8L turbocharged V6 is rated at 276 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, but is believed to be underrated, actually making around 300 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. The Lamborghini's 5.2L V12 is rated at 449 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. The Buick pulled away from the Lamborghini in every race, despite the latter's higher top speed.
