YouTuber Transforms Tesla Model S Plaid into Track-Ready 'Cyber Kart'

YouTuber BoostedBoiz purchased a wrecked Tesla Model S Plaid and transformed it into a stripped-down exocar, shedding 700 pounds by removing doors and interior. Further weight reduction by cutting off the body brought the car's weight down to 3,850 pounds. With a structural cage added, the modified vehicle, dubbed the "Cyber Kart," achieved a quarter-mile run in 8.83 seconds at 149.43 mph and a zero-to-60 sprint in 1.87 seconds. The YouTuber believes improvements can be made to address poor aerodynamics and increase top speed.
