Microsoft to Cease Bundling Teams with Office

Microsoft has agreed to stop automatically installing its Teams video conferencing and messaging app on devices that have its Office software installed, in order to avoid an antitrust probe by EU regulators following a complaint by rival Slack. Companies will now be able to buy Office with or without Teams, but the mechanism for doing so is unclear and talks are ongoing. This move is part of Microsoft's efforts to avoid its first antitrust probe in over a decade.
