"Massive Data Breach: Delta Dental Exposes Personal Info of 7 Million Individuals"

Delta Dental of California has suffered a data breach, exposing the personal information of nearly seven million patients. The breach occurred through a vulnerability in the MOVEit Transfer software, allowing unauthorized access by threat actors. Names, financial account numbers, and credit/debit card numbers, including security codes, were exposed. Delta Dental is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to affected customers. This is the third largest data breach involving MOVEit, following breaches at Maximus and Welltok.
