Mario Galaxy Movie Adds AI-Training Disclaimer in Credits
TL;DR
Universal’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie ends with a disclaimer stating the film cannot be used to train AI, part of a broader trend of AI-related warnings from Universal. Executives from Illumination and Nintendo discuss AI as a tool but emphasize human creativity, while Nintendo has been weighing AI internally for development. The movie has grossed over $400 million, and Nintendo’s live-action The Legend of Zelda film is planned for 2027 with Sony Pictures, with Universal not involved.
