Nintendo Plans to Expand Movie Universe with More Releases.

Shigeru Miyamoto hints at Nintendo expanding their movie output considerably in the future, using characters that would be fit for movies or very well-known characters. While there are no specifics, it's clear that other projects are coming, and there are all sorts of franchises they could work with for silver screen adaptations. The success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie has brought in over $700 million worldwide so far.
