TL;DR

A roundup of reviews for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book on Switch 2 finds a breezy, charming 2D platformer built on exploration and whimsy; critics praise its imaginative creatures and open-ended discovery but note it lacks deep gameplay and that some clever ideas arrive late, resulting in a delightful but not earth-shaking entry for the Yoshi series (Metacritic 82).
