Riot Quietly Closes Active 2XKO Development, Keeps Servers Live for Online Play

Riot Games will end active development on 2XKO by December 2026, but will keep servers online for online play with a final patch and bug fixes. Purchases made on or before Aug 20 will be refunded, most cosmetics will be bundled, and all champions will be unlocked. Offline play remains unaffected. Through 2026 Riot will still add content, including two new champions, Lux and Samira, before the final update.
