Remedy has announced a 10-day delay for the highly anticipated game Alan Wake 2, pushing its release date from October 17 to October 27. The delay is to avoid clashing with other major game launches in October, including Spider-Man 2, Forza Motorsport, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and possibly Sega's Sonic Stadium. Remedy also explained their decision to release Alan Wake 2 as a digital-only game across all platforms, citing the shift towards digital-only gaming and the desire to keep the game's price lower.
