"Assessing the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series: Font, Reviews, and Availability"
TL;DR
Square Enix has released the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series on Switch, which includes an option to switch between the original PC font and a new pixel-based 'Classic' font. While some fans are happy with the new option, others still find the font thin and prefer the chunky SNES font. The Japanese version also has its own version of the pixel font. Fans are encouraged to vote in a poll to share their thoughts on the new font.
