TL;DR

Atelier Ryza owners will not receive discounts for upgrading to the new DX versions on PS5 and PS4, although cross-buy support allows playing on either system with a single purchase. The re-releases include all DLC, new content, and quality of life improvements, but do not offer a direct upgrade path or save transfer, making them more suitable for new players or fans who haven't experienced the series before.
