"Baldur's Gate 3: Astarion's Original Tiefling Identity Revealed"

Baldur's Gate 3 originally planned to allow players to recruit a major antagonist, Ketheric Thorm, as a companion character, but this idea was cut during development. Additionally, the game was intended to feature a wider range of locations, including several familiar to Dungeons and Dragons players, but these were ultimately removed in favor of fewer but larger maps. Larian Studios has confirmed that there will be no Baldur's Gate 4 or major expansion to Baldur's Gate 3, but smaller updates are still planned.
