Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke has confirmed that Baldur's Gate 3 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass, stating that the game is a big, meaty experience that deserves a fair price. Vincke emphasized the game's lack of microtransactions and its substantial playtime, which can take over 144 hours for completionists. This decision contrasts with the inclusion of Starfield on Game Pass from launch. Despite not being on Game Pass, Baldur's Gate 3 has already achieved significant success on Steam and received numerous accolades.
