CD Projekt Red Shifts Cyberpunk Team to Focus on The Witcher 4

CD Projekt Red plans to shift a significant portion of its Cyberpunk 2077 team to work on The Witcher 4 (Polaris) after the release of the Phantom Liberty Expansion in September. The company's president and CEO, Adam Kiciński, stated that resources will be increasingly allocated to the next Witcher game, with a major development boost occurring once main development on Phantom Liberty is finished. While some team members will focus on supporting other ongoing projects, most of the staff is expected to work on Polaris. The official numbers will be revealed in the third quarter financial update on November 28.
