Crimson Desert Promises a World Twice Skyrim’s Size, Debuts in 2026
TL;DR
Crimson Desert, an open-world RPG from Pearl Abyss, releases March 19, 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. The game’s world is described as at least twice as large as Skyrim’s playable area and bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2, with flying dragon mounts adding more scale. While hype is high, some pre-release footage appears shallow, and it remains to be seen whether the expansive world will feel alive and offer depth in story and exploration.
