Destiny 2 Season Pass Prices Set to Rise

Bungie has announced that it will be raising the price of Destiny 2's season passes from $10 to $12, citing rising costs of producing and playing the game full-time. The price increase will only apply to à la carte season pass purchases and will not affect those that come with the standard and deluxe editions of the most recent Lightfall expansion. The price hike comes as Lightfall bumped the price of annual expansions up to $50, and even old content still comes at a cost. The changes are in line with broader video game price increases across the industry.
