TL;DR

Diablo 3's Season 30, titled The Lords of Hell, is set to launch on January 12, featuring the return of the Soul Shards system from Season 25. Players can collect and upgrade these shards to gain powers of the Prime and Lesser Evils. A patch update (2.7.7) will precede the season, making Rites of Sanctuary and Visions of Enmity permanent features. While the season doesn't introduce completely new content, it offers cosmetic rewards and continues to support the game's community ahead of Diablo 4's release.
