"Diablo 4 Sparks Outrage with $30 Portal Recolor Microtransactions"
TL;DR
Blizzard is facing backlash for offering a $30 "Dark Pathways" bundle in Diablo 4, which includes five new color options for in-game portals and 1000 platinum, a premium currency. Many players find the price excessive for a minor cosmetic change, especially since the portals are class-locked. The move adds to the criticism the game has received for controversial patches, expensive microtransactions, and unpopular seasons, further alienating players and critics.
