"Diablo 4 Update Boosts Rare Loot Drops, Temporarily Amplifying Excitement"

Blizzard has released a hotfix for Diablo 4 that doubles the drop rates for the rarest loot from the Echo of Duriel boss fight until January 8. This follows previous updates that increased drop rates for other items. However, the update also includes a fix that caps the duration of the Metamorphosis buff at 2.5 seconds, regardless of level, but with a slight damage increase. Some players feel the drop rate increase came too late, while others are excited to take advantage of it.
