Pokémon Go is introducing the Paldea region with the addition of Pokémon from last year's Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The first batch of Pokémon, including Lechonk with a Shiny variant, will be released on September 5th as part of the A Paldean Adventure event. The Ultra Unlock: Paldea event will follow from September 10th, introducing more Paldea Pokémon. Niantic is also offering a paid Timed Research challenge featuring encounters with Pawmi and various rewards.
