TL;DR

Nintendo’s Switch 2 port of Super Mario Bros. Wonder will require a $19.99/£16.99 Upgrade Pack to access new features — including extra characters, expanded multiplayer, quality‑of‑life improvements and amiibo content — with GameShare letting one owner play with up to four players. Fans are furious that the upgrade isn’t free, despite the March 26, 2026 release and the new Meetups at Bellabel Park featuring local and online play options.
