Far Cry Expands Its Universe With Kodiak, a New Open-World FPS

A new Far Cry game, codenamed Kodiak, has entered development at Ubisoft’s Vantage Studios after the cancellation of Maverick; Kodiak is described as an ambitious open-world first-person shooter with player-driven stories and a multiplayer component, while the next mainline entry, Blackbird, has faced delays but is still in the works as Ubisoft lines up multiple Far Cry experiences.
