"Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Demo Impressions and Gameplay Highlights"

Square Enix has released a free demo for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PlayStation 5, featuring two parts that offer a taste of the game's combat, exploration, and storytelling. The demo includes a dramatic flashback section and a more open setting with a boss fight, showcasing the game's characters and gameplay mechanics. However, progression in the demo will not carry over to the full game upon its release on Feb. 29. The demo was unveiled during a dedicated State of Play stream, where Square Enix also detailed the game's structure and features, including side quests and minigames.
