TL;DR

Fortnite players are experiencing hour-long queues and matchmaking issues in Chapter 5 Season 1, despite the servers being back online. Other problems include the Shuffle Loadout feature not working and UI-related complaints. The servers are expected to be playable again around 4 AM PT - 7 AM ET / 7 AM PT - 10 AM ET on December 3. Fortnite Chapter 5 is considered a new beginning for the game and introduces new games within Fortnite, such as Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival.
