Game Pass Ultimate price cut lands just as a wave of day-one titles arrives
TL;DR
Microsoft slashed the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (and PC Game Pass) after the 2025 hike, arriving at a perfect moment as a busy slate of day-one games, led by Forza Horizon 6, heads to the service in 2026. The move reinforces the top tier’s value as new titles roll out, with many day-one releases requiring Ultimate/PC Game Pass rather than Premium.
