Helldivers 2 Birthday Patch Unleashes Bastion Tank and Trident Return
TL;DR
The Into the Unjust patch for Helldivers 2 arrives on its second birthday, adding the Bastion Tank and the LAS-16 Trident (via a premium warbond), plus balance changes (armor passives adjusted, melee damage up 50%, reduced weapon sway, tougher higher difficulties). The update helps Helldivers 2 reclaim the US Steam top-sellers list and reach global No. 3 behind CS2 and PUBG, with Steam concurrent players above 100k for the first time since September 2025, signaling renewed co-op action as players pursue Star of Peace schematics.
