"Helldivers 2 Reaches Record Steam Player Count Amid Server Capacity Concerns"
TL;DR
Helldivers 2 reaches 400,000 concurrent players on Steam, prompting Arrowhead Game Studios to temporarily cap the player total at around 450,000 to improve server stability. The studio is working to increase the game's capacity and address progression-related issues, with an update on server status expected on Monday. Helldivers 2 currently ranks among the Top 25-played Steam games ever, surpassing Grand Theft Auto V in concurrent players.
