TL;DR

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores has received positive reviews from critics, but is being review bombed on Metacritic with a user score of 4.8 and dropping due to complaints about gameplay, content, and a plot development. The backlash is unlikely to negatively impact the expansion's success, but expect this topic to dominate discussion in the lead up to the inevitable Horizon 3.
