Larian Studios Shifts Focus Away from Baldur's Gate 3 and Dungeons & Dragons

Larian Studios, the developer of Baldur’s Gate 3, has announced that it will not be making new expansions or a Baldur’s Gate 4, and is moving away from Dungeons & Dragons games to start a new project. Despite the game's success, the studio will not be continuing with the franchise, leaving it up to Wizards of the Coast to find someone else to take over. Larian will focus on patching Baldur’s Gate 3 and adding official mod support for the game on both PCs and consoles.
