"Massive Team Shift: CD Projekt Devotes Nearly Half of Staff to The Witcher 4"

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that nearly half of its development staff, around 330 developers, are now working on The Witcher 4, codenamed Polaris. The team is expected to grow to over 400 developers by mid-2024. The game is still in pre-production and is estimated to be at least three years away from release. CD Projekt Red is also developing new technology within Unreal Engine 5 for the game.
