MLB The Show 23 introduces an interactive documentary-style mode on the Negro Leagues, complete with original artwork, archival footage, and photographs. The game also features major structural changes to its card collecting mode, Diamond Dynasty, and a deeper scouting system in Franchise mode. While the gameplay changes are minimal, the addition of new animations and audio effects enhances the authenticity.
