TL;DR

Modern Warfare 3's Ranked Play launch was delayed due to a critical issue following the Season One Reloaded update, which also brought unexpected glitches and changes to gameplay. The delay was announced after game-breaking glitches made Warzone unplayable, and the devs did not provide a timeline for the fix. The mid-season update also unexpectedly altered Hardpoint locations and spawns on certain maps, shaking up the meta before Ranked Play goes live. Despite changes to weapons and killstreak strategy, it remains unclear when Ranked Play will be available.
