Neo Geo AES+ remakes classic with HDMI and original cartridge support

SNK and Plaion Replai announced the Neo Geo AES+ remake, a faithful AES reissue that adds HDMI output up to 1080p, DIP-switch options for language, overclocking and display modes, plus a memory-card save for high scores and a low-power mode. It remains compatible with original Neo Geo cartridges via AV output for CRT displays. Preorders offer two editions: a $349.99 35th-anniversary bundle with an arcade stick, a Metal Slug cartridge, and a memory card, and a $249.99 standard black edition with an arcade stick; ten modernized cartridges will also be released at $89.99 each. Ship date is November 12.
