Nintendo Blocks Dolphin Emulator from Steam

Nintendo has asked Valve to remove the Dolphin emulator, which allows users to play GameCube and Wii games on PC, from Steam. Nintendo claims that the emulator illegally circumvents its protection measures and runs illegal copies of games, which harms development and stifles innovation. Nintendo has been aggressive in clamping down on leaks and illegal misuses of its games and technology, including issuing copyright strikes against Breath of the Wild gameplay videos on YouTube that relied on modded versions of the game. It's unclear how Dolphin's developers will respond, or how willing Valve will be to bring the store page back unless the matter is resolved in court.
