"Palworld: From Controversy to Record-Breaking Success"
TL;DR
Palworld, described as "Pokémon with guns," has become the sixth game to surpass one million concurrent players on Steam, selling over four million copies since its early access release on Friday. With a peak of 1.2 million concurrent players in the last 24 hours, it has outperformed popular titles like PUBG, Counter-Strike 2, and Dota 2, and even exceeded concurrent player records for games like Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3, and Elden Ring. Despite server outages due to high demand, the game's momentum continues, prompting caution from the developer regarding in-game items.
