"Palworld Sells Over 1 Million Copies, Overwhelming Servers and Multiplayer Functionality"
TL;DR
Palworld, a game likened to "Pokémon with guns," has sold over a million copies within eight hours of its early access release, causing server instability due to the large number of concurrent players. Developer Pocketpair is working to address the server issues and has advised players to reconnect multiple times. The game, currently in Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, has surpassed its initial userbase and is receiving positive reviews, with a 10% discount available on Steam until January 25.
