Phantom Liberty Director to Helm Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Using Unreal Engine 5 and Promising No Crunch

Gabe Amatangelo, director of Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty expansion, will also direct the full sequel from CD Projekt Red, codenamed Orion. Little is known about the sequel, but CD Projekt Red promised it "will fully unleash the potential that this universe offers". Development should be kicking off soon if it hasn't already, with Amatangelo looking to move over when Phantom Liberty is done. Phantom Liberty is set to change several aspects of the base game too, even adding a new ending.
