Phil Spencer's Confidence in Xbox's Future

Xbox head Phil Spencer is "confident" that Microsoft's $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard will still happen despite the UK's Competition and Markets Authority announcing its intention to block the deal in April 2022. Microsoft is currently appealing the decision and trying to find solutions with regulators. If the deal goes through, Microsoft will own the Call of Duty IP. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has not ruled out withholding the company's products from the UK if the deal is approved in other parts of the world.
