The Pokémon Company's surprise announcement of the new spin-off game Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked excitement among fans, particularly due to the return of Mega Evolutions, a feature last seen in Pokémon X and Y. Fans expressed enthusiasm for the potential of new Mega Evolutions and hope for their permanent inclusion in future mainline games, suggesting that it could eliminate the need for new gimmicks each generation. The game, set for a 2025 release, will return players to the Kalos region, as shown in a recent trailer.
