Pokémon TCG 'Delta Reign' Launches Nov. 6 with New Split Stadiums and Cut Cards

Key points

• Delta Reign releases November 6, 2026, with prereleases from October 24 to November 1.
• The set introduces split Stadium cards with 'Legendary' in their names, requiring both halves to play.
• English versions cut the full-art Mega Rayquaza ex and regular Eevee ex, likely saving them for boxed products.
• Store promos for Kyogre, Groudon, and Giratina are available at major retailers, including a debut for Macy's.
• The 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box is priced at $59.99 on Amazon, well below the $125 market price.

Background

Delta Reign is the final 2026 Pokémon TCG set, following the 30th Celebration release. Previous coverage noted community debates over card translations and preorder shortages for this expansion. The set draws from Japanese sources 'Storm Emeralda' and 'MEGA Starter Decks,' marking a shift from previous 1:1 English equivalents due to the absence of recent Japanese subsets.

How outlets are covering it

PokéBeach provides the comprehensive card list and notes the exclusion of certain cards from the English release, attributing the full-art Mega Rayquaza ex to a future boxed product. Mashable and CNET focus on the market value of the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box, highlighting the $59.99 to $60 price point on Amazon compared to the $120 to $125 market price. Both outlets emphasize the invite-only system on Amazon to prevent scalping, while PokéBeach details the specific retailers for store promos, including the first-time inclusion of Macy's.

Why it matters

The release of Delta Reign introduces new mechanics like split Stadium cards, which could impact deck-building strategies. The significant price drop for the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box offers collectors a chance to acquire a high-demand product at a lower cost, though access is restricted by Amazon's invite system. The cut cards in the English release may influence secondary market values for those specific cards in future boxed products.

What to watch

Full English card images for Delta Reign are expected to be revealed around November 6. The 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box deal on Amazon may disappear quickly due to high demand. Collectors should monitor retailer websites for store promos and prerelease events from October 24 to November 1.
