Season 8 Patch Unleashes Monster-Scaled Meta Shifts in Marvel Rivals

Season 8 of Marvel Rivals drops a monster-sized balance patch that introduces Devil Dinosaur alongside a Punisher team-up and reworks many heroes. Notable changes include Deadpool nerfs to healing and gun damage, Emma Frost and The Thing receiving survivability buffs, and multiple tweaks to Iron Fist, Mister Fantastic, Moon Knight, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Wolverine, Loki, and Mantis. Chilling Assault’s range is boosted, Mantis loses some damage boost in favor of a flat 100 Movement Speed aura for allies, and a new Ancient Judgement ability unlocks via Devil Dinosaur–Punisher Team-Up. Several Strategist and Vanguard adjustments, energy-cost changes, and cooldown tweaks aim to diversify comps and boost mobility and direct damage while maintaining control and sustain.
