Sega's Bold Confidence in Beating PlayStation Revealed in Leaked Documents

Internal documents from Sega dating back to 1996 have leaked online, revealing the company's confidence in beating PlayStation with its Saturn console. Sega of America president, Tom Kalinske, claimed that Saturn was "killing" Sony's PS1 in Japan. However, Saturn's initial success was short-lived, and Kalinske later resigned as PS1 sales soared. The leaked documents also show that Sega acknowledged PlayStation's superior games library and lamented the lack of third-party support for Saturn.
