"Sony's Helldivers 2 Dominates PC Launch with Exciting Features and Strong Sales"
TL;DR
Helldivers 2 has seen a massive launch on both PS5 and PC, with its Steam numbers surpassing those of God of War and peaking at about 81k players overnight. This simultaneous PC release has raised questions about Sony's future PC launch strategies, as the success of Helldivers 2 may prompt the company to consider releasing all titles on PC at the same time as on PS5. This marks Sony's first step into the live service arena, with plans for future updates and hotfixes to further expand the game's success.
