Sony's PixelOpus, Developer of Concrete Genie, to Shut Down.

Sony is shutting down PixelOpus, the studio behind Concrete Genie, as part of a review process to ensure short and long-term strategic objectives. PixelOpus had been working on a new PS5 game with Sony Pictures Animation. The studio was founded in 2014 under the Sony Interactive Entertainment umbrella and had developed imaginative passion projects like Entwined and Concrete Genie. Sadly, experimental studios with outside-the-box ideas are often the first to be cut when parent companies look to cut costs.
