Stage Tour heats up rhythm gaming with 90+ tracks and Metallica among its lineup

A Guitar Hero-style spiritual successor called Stage Tour reveals a December 10, 2026 release with over 90 playable songs and a roster spanning Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo and more; the game is being developed by RedOctane Games with partnerships from Gibson, Kramer, Epiphone and Mesa Boogie for in-game gear, and supports guitar, microphone and drum peripherals via a custom MIDI drum hub. It will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch 2, with additional artists announced at Gamescom.
