GSC Game World will release S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on September 5 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, after facing delays and challenges including a pause in development due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The game's release date was announced in a trailer, marking the "final release date" after previous delays, and follows the return of the studio with a new gameplay trailer in December 2022.
