"Steam Launches 90-Minute Game Trials with Dead Space as First Offering"
TL;DR
Valve has introduced game trials on Steam, starting with the Dead Space remake. Players can now try out the game for 90 minutes without purchasing it. The trial is not restricted to a certain point in the game, allowing players to explore as much as they want within the 90-minute period. It is unclear if Steam trials will become more ubiquitous, but this feature could alleviate some of the frustrations of poorly optimized PC games.
