Switch to receive PS1-era upgrades for Glover and Street Racer Collection in 2027

QUByte announced free Nintendo Switch updates that will add the PlayStation 1 versions of Glover and Street Racer Collection, with patches due in 2027. The PS1 versions reflect the hardware differences—Glover’s PS1 build features downgraded graphics, cutscenes, and altered physics, while Street Racer Collection switches to fully polygonal 3D tracks and different layouts. A trailer confirming the news is available, and QUByte also revealed other retro-capsule releases (Gaelco Sports Collection, Thunder Hoop Collection) plus PS1 titles Invasion from Beyond, Motor Mash, and Tigershark.
